Irmscher is a Opel/Isuzu thing Company that was Set up by Carrol Shelby(Genius of Mustangs and Cobras) in Europe.
The 1st Irmscher Kitted Vehicle in Oz was the VB HDT Commodore(A Deal with Brock and Irmscher), That Line Carried thru to the VK Where Brock Designed his Own Kits which then Became the AERO Commodores(Shelby Influence) Till Brocks Fall from Grace with Energy Polariser(Supposed, More a Holden King Dealing with a Ford God).
Irmscher is a Trademark on Many Vehicles Around the World, But Mainly Isuzu and Opel.

Sorry KID. not correct :
In 1968 Günther Irmscher, the master motor mechanic and engineer set up a small business in a double garage in the Swabian town of Winnenden.
Thanks to the pioneering spirit and tireless dedication of Günther Irmscher, the original two-man engine tuning outfit developed into a flourishing group of companies. Nowadays, the name Irmscher is a synonym for sporty, fast and successful Opel vehicles.
