I have just bought my second new Astra (SRi Black) in 9 months (the first one was a little boring compared to this one) and I would like to replace the Holden badges with the intended Opel ones... Can anyone tell me the best way to achieve that ??

Ebay aus or uk, make sure you are getting the right badges though.
You can try Carshine.com.au bit more $$$ though. Or pm slim on this forum he may be able to put you in the right direction.

Btw welcome to the site, How did you hear about us?

Enjoy.

Hi there ... thanks for the help. I managed to get two large "Blitzs" but I need the one for the steering wheel. Also I need to find out how to remove the oild ones. Someone said "fishing line" ... but what do I do with it ?? Do I need glue to stick the new ones on ? Etc Etc.

Your help is appreciated.

use the fishing line in a sawing motion between the badge and the car. should come off quite easily.

when its off you may have residual sticky stuff left over on the car so use a cleaning product to get it off

the new badges you bought should already have a sticky backing, no?

Yes it was quite easy to take off... Thanks.
However, the ones I got have no self adesive backing at all... Perhaps a trip to the local car parts shop for a roll of double sided tape ???

PS: any more suggestions about finding a "blitz" for the steering wheel?

You can order a Centre wheel cap from Slimcraigie, he sent me one and works great.

just pop the blitz out, snap off the small clips, and glue it to a black peice of circular plastic and attatch.

you will need a whole grill for the front with the opel sign attached.

fishing line in sawing motion, then to get rid of the residue use some dettol or tea tree oil.
