That's fantastic footage of internal combustion in action !!!

I remember seeing once many years ago at a machanics training college, a 4 cylinder engine short block assembly being revved at 3000rpm - even at that low rpm the pistons were at T.D.C (top dead centre) long enough through each cycle, you could write on them !!!

I think it's an important part of being a car buff, knowing how all this stuff works and actually looks like :)
