Just to divulge a little Info on the R32's that are in the GTP series (where the thread started)
& why they seem to be faster than the STi's & Evo's (so far......)

they are lighter than the road going version's
& i think they are allowed to run more boost than stock

Compared to the Evo's that have boost restriction's :(
& Hemme's STi that normally carries success ballast (same to all winning car's)
the R32 has got off lightly so far..........

was cheering for the R32's at Oran Park,
as they sound awesome in race spec :D
and will do the same at Eastern Creek :P

whoops sorry,
typing to quick for brain :bang: :bang: :bang:

the R32 is allowed to have greater exhaust, air intake freedom than any other car at present (listen too the noise it makes :D )
surely will be adjusted over time,
as since a new car to the series, they to have see how competitive they are compared to rest of the field.

also doesn't hinder the fact Paul Stokell is behind the wheel...............

Seus
23rd June 2004, 07:28 PM
yeh, i was really suprised to see how fast this car was in comparison to others in the field

i saw a race about 2-3 weeks ago
stokell was trying to overtake an M3, the M3 had the speed on the straights, but it must be the awd system cos it was faster round the corners
quite a little bullet
