Only in the Netherlands!

Cloggies like tuning their vans, or so Opel claims. Especially for the Dutch market they have released the Opel Vivaro Performance Concept (or simply the Vivaro VPC) and will be limited to 100 numbered units.

The Opel Vivaro VPC has a stock 2,5 liter CDTi engine with 146 hp (107 kW) and six-speed manual transmission. The VPC is based on the long wheel-base Vivaro with dual cabin (L2) which seats five people and can hold 3,8 cubic meters of cargo. So under the hood everything stays as it is, the interior and exterior on the other hand receive quite a make-over.

The outside sports a new body kit, light-weight wheels with wide tires and is painted in OPC Arden Blue, although it seems that the limited edition will only be available in silver-grey or black metallic.

Inside you will find Recaro sport seats for the driver and co-driver, leather and cloth upholstery and an umbrella holder in the rear seat. The cargo area has a (by the looks of it) fancy-looking hard-wood floor which looks great but we wonder how badly it will scratch when in daily use.

Opel has priced the Vivaro VPC at Euro 34,900 and is, as stated before, available in The Netherlands only.

Your 1/2 to 3/4 there for a VE version......

Just buy a VE ute and get a custom cover made up for the rear and customise the centre rear tailgate and aft wall of the drivers position and walla - a modern panel van :)

yeah i remember that, not long after the station started they began giving people lifts to work in the dato.
ugly phil was excellent, he was funnier when he was on 2day fm though.
one night on 2day fm he rang a furniture place and tried to order a 1 seat lounge with a built in dunny, and drink holder. i think he wanted a little fridge in it too.
another night he got some gay guy to serve at maccas for one of maccas celebrity days.
he got the gay guy to sing to the next customer... killing me softly with his shlong.

Havent been around much.....no more Barina

I personally dont like it, in the flesh it would not look good either, there would be WAY to much blue.....like looking at a giant lego block.
The bodykit doesnt suit, there have been some much nicer ones done, also the standard factory unit isnt that bad.

Love the rear interior. The front seats would be a PITA to use.

Love the wheels and the ride height though. (5x118 wheels are non-existent here, pretty much custom drilled only)

Considering it came out in 2001-2 is still looks pretty good, with basically the only changes being the lights.

The Trafic/Vivaro/Primastar has its limit at 3600-3800, 4k if you miss a shift. Best acceleration is between 2200-3100 outside this and you are pretty much wasting your time. There is a chip for them to raise it from 100hp --> 127hp (240nm --> 300nm torque)

Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeEbwGxwQQQ&feature=related) is one doing 195km/h, would have taken a while to get there (4 wheel drift on a friends dirt road at 160 put me off going quick again (and I need it to last me another 200k kms, hopefully continuing its pretty trouble-free run)

Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH4rpOjlGPk&feature=related) is a short drifting vid (Macca's tray style)

All in all, not too bad for a model that returns 7-7.5lt/100km consistently.

Would I buy another? Definitely (ABSOLUTELY if they added some of the euro options)
