Names Michael im 18 from Sydney and i own a 2001 Astra CD
It is my first car and has a few small things done to it
Painted grill, head unit, exhaust and de badged.
Have a few mods planned soon, rims, headlights and colour coding

Not sure about colour really. Since sometimes it has purple to it in different lights.

Kept the Holden Badge in the centre and just took off the word HOLDEN and ASTRA.
Don't see the point in putting opel badges on to be honest.

3. I cannot be bothered explaining that.
4. Spend money on better things.

i just did it because personally i think it looks better, and more part of the club :)

i did it because the website is called [Opel]Aus, it does make it look a bit more unique than the 16 million astra Gs* that are currently in australia...

I know what you guys are saying but i would rather spend my money on mods that will help improve the car eg swaybar, suspension etc.

Thats fair enough each to his own i guess. But still,haha, It cost so little for somthing that makes the car look ten times better and does make it more of an opel. Plus easier for other opel owners to identify you to say hi, and makes it better for photo shoots etc if everyone has opel badges on a site dedicated to "opels".

Now this isnt a dig at you in anyway and fair enough if you dont want to do it you dont want to do it thats your perogative. Just my general thoughts on the matter.

it doesn't really make the car look better, just more unique

nothing wrong with staying holden, my old mans corsa b is badged holden and i dont really feel a need to spend money to change it

After all you guys talked about the re-badging im very tempted.
I am now on Ebay Uk looking at bootlid badges and badgeless grilles for the front.

don't do something unless you're absolutely sure of it mate, at the end of the day shes your car so just make sure its what you're after ;)

I still haven't made a desicion. but i will wait a while until more money comes in.
I decided that i don't want to be like every other astra G on the road.
I already know what it looks like after doing some photo chops and i have to admit it will look awesome.
