A question for all...

If you had 130k to spend on a new vehicle would you even consider that thing above, even if your requirement was for an AWD SUV ???

Not sure I'd go with one

Never, I'd buy the new GTR or save up for a Porka GT3.

Cars like this don't serve any particular purpose, they are built to showcase what can be done. Eventually some of the power of this V10 will filter down to the Golf diesels and Polo's. I think it may even be a hint that the new GTi could be in a Diesel outfit as well. :)

The is already a diesel Golf GT (with teh 125kw TDI engine). If my recollections are correct the V10 in the ToeRag is only 2valves per cylinder. Hardly bleeding edge diesel technology

You'd be suprised on the number of people that send $130k+ on an SUV in Australia, see quite a few everyday here in Melbourne!!!

Probably less surprising is the low number of those SUV's that actually make it off-road!!!!

The R50 Touraeg looks ok, but i'd go for a BMW or Lexus SUV instead!!!
