Big hello to everyone!

I just purchased myself a Black 2002 Astra TS SRi and hopefully get to pick it up this Saturday! :dance:

Funnily enough I did a bit of googling about the Astra SRi and sure enough I found this place! :D

It's been great reading through this site over the last week at the things some of you have done to your cars and it's given me a good insight into the possibilities of what I can do with mine.

At this stage my initial ideas for mods are only light. Those being....

Transplant HU/Amps/subs into the Astra
Window Tint
New set of 17" rims
'Maybe' a new exhaust systemOtherwise proud to be the new owner of this car.

*edit* As I was typing this I was informed that settlement had occurred and I can get my car! w00t!

If you get 17s ill buy your old wheels if they're in good condition cas mine has some serious gutter rash from previous owner.

Also get a dark tint, im saving for one and it makes black SRi even hawter!

Finally be prepared to wash often, these cars get dirty super quick!

Yeah I am prepared to wash a car a little more! Never had a black one before.

Hey mate....

Undecided on the what to do with the rims yet.

I have to find another set first! And I'm not in too much of hurry at this stage but if/when I decide to sell them I imagine this would be the best place to offload them...

BTW picked the car up today. More than exceeded my expectations! This car is wonderful to drive.

Felt nice and solid. Great pick-up and acceleration.

I seriously couldn't wipe the smile of my face!! Very happy customer.

Now to get started on the mods!

Have u snagged the limiter yet! I remeber when i first got my SRi its not as loud as jap 4 cyl and i kept hittin the limiter in 1st

Yeah have I have noticed that! It's way quieter than my Astina which had a full exhaust on it and with my SRi in 1st gear does get me sometimes!

Any excuse to go for a drive now!
