wonder how good of a clone it is?

Not that i have any problems with my car, touch wood. just seen alot of posts asking for tech2 help. And found it in my browse of the internet shopping mart. :)

Although they're loosely called Tech 2 instruments, they are in fact nothing like a genuine Vetronix Tech 2 (@ US$4,000) and are nothing more than a glorified digital diagnostic code reader.

You can get exactly the same information from your ECU by using a paperclip to short 2 terminals on the diagnostics socket and reading the error code pulses. Oh, and despite what some people may believe (and some ads may tell you), these will NOT turn off airbag warning lamps.
