Hey Guys/Girls

I have just joined this forum, I hope people are friendly here.
I just picked up a 2004 MY05 SRI Barina, and hopefully by joining this site I can learn more bout my car, its abilities and what I am able to do to it to enjoy it a little more.

Here is a couple of pics, tell me what you guys/girls think.

It is booked in this Friday for a full tint, I'm going as dark as I legally can here in Adelaide, and I am looking at doing an Exhaust to it atm as well.
I have only had the car for 4 days, and have all ready been looking for new wheels, tint and exhaust.
It will be fully detailed next Friday, i will post some more pics up then.

This might sound silly, But what exactly is my car??? I have been looking for things i can do to it, like lowering and what not, But I don't know what the car is actually called.
Like looking at Eibach's website, I thought being a Euro Car it would be listed, but I cant seem to find what products will work on my car as all i am able to find is Holden Barina XC.:confused:

Its makes wanting to play with the car a little difficult, so any help or links or anything would be greatly appreciated guys and Dee:p lol

they were build 2001 - 2005
the facelift was released in aus in 2004

Thanks Dee, but that doesn't help heaps, as most of the places i am searching through don't list Vauxhaul, Opel or Corsa, Like the Eibach website, It doesn't list anything that I would consider to be the car, so looking for products seems a very hard task.

Grrrr it looks like owning a beep is going to be a pain in the ass.:mad:

I have been looking for lowering kits, springs and shocks, body kits, anything and everything but I cant find the model (car) on any site.

Any help guys would be appreciated.

the Corsa B and C are one of the most Tuned cars in Europe and South Africa.

another forum to look at would be www.opelownersforum.co.za/forum or www.zoopedup.net Both are South African forums, where Opel is the GM brand. You will find any products and/or advice you need on there regarding your car.

.com is american.

in america they are badged as a Saturn. GM should stick to one brand name to stop all this confusion. Leave them as OPELS...

One thing you might think about getting is a Whiteline rear swaybar.
Check out www.whiteline.com.au (http://www.whiteline.com.au)
Good bang for your buck performance mod, as it'll improve the stability of the car thru corners.
Vectra diesel intake, exhaust, eibach springs will all help aswell.
Good luck, and keep us updated with the progress.

I'm always up for a Cruise,

I didn't realize, but where all ready on each other's Myspace, I'm Greg I have the Red SSV, well had the red SSV I sold it for my Corsa C.

Might have to catch up some time, so you can have a look,

Hopefully you know more about the car than i do, which shouldn't be hard.

Just for an update guys/girls the window tinting was done today, and a safety check was done at Pedders just so I could find out what condition the suspension and steering components where in, And its all good.

Monday she is booked in for some mag fitment and possible purchase if i like what i see.

Wednesday she is booked in for a little 2" cat back system with resi and canon style muffler.

Then Friday she is off to the detailer to get looked after and rejuvenated, hopefully it will remove a lot of the scratches and swirls in the car. It looks like someone tried to polish the hood with a brick, not real pretty.:mad:

I have taken pics of the tint, but my C was so dirty so I don't want to post them, I will wait possibly until the detail is done.

Yup I didn't even know what OpelAus was, I thought it might have been like some cool Porn site so I had to check it out. :p

As for why did I sell my SSV ummmm well to cut a long story short, after recently getting out of a 6 year relationship and being left with the house, car and all daily expenses it was just starting to become a hassle. The last thing I wanted to do was have to budget every last cent that I was earning and I hated it.
Like I couldn't go out as much as I wanted because money was to tight and I just felt thats no way to live, And with work about to release the VE Ute I could have made my life a lot harder by keeping the car as it would have lost a lot more money really quickly.

Well I thought I would update my post with a couple of pics, with my not dark enough tint :mad: my exhaust and she is fairly clean.

Tell me what you guys think, I will take positive and negative comments,
I am going to go back to Tint a car today and see if they can double the tint, otherwise they can remove it and put some 20% in instead of the legal 35% it has.

The exhaust is just a 2" cat back with Lukey glass pack muffler and dump style tip.

My wheels where supposed to be fitted on Thursday but hadn't arrived yet, so hopefully some time next week.

And Lowering is on the cards, I'm looking at importing a set of koni coil overs or similar. My wheels when they finaly get fitted.

hahaha yeah I know Dee has the same wheels, I messaged Dee before I ordered my wheels just to make sure she had no obligations. I decided on the Shadow Chrome as I thought the black looked small, but thats just my opinion.

I might have to go for a trip to Queensland just to get some pics with Dee's car, that would be awesome having 2 Corsa's almost identical.

I have sent a few email's to a few companies in the UK about postage costs to send a body kit over, This is what I have been look at:

I actually come in to autobarn there the other week inquiring about upgrading the stereo.

That kit looks familiar, i was thinking of getting the same kit a while ago :) . Decided against it now that im getting a whole new front end after my crash.

Did a quick photochop with my rims when i was looking at it to see what it would look like, loved the look of it.
