I assume you havn't checked their site out....

http://www.powerchipgroup.com/interact/datasheets/datasheets_two.asp?pid=Hol0197

Bit rich for what you get compared for a similar upgrade they had for the TS turbo which was half the price !!!

If you do go ahead with it, you 'might' be able to squeeze a bit of a discount out of them....

I do know and have had numerous chats with the guys at the Melb. powerchip outlet, my first tune of many for my TS turbo vert was a powerchip map - but your in NSW.

Here they're quite friendly and helpful, hopefully the same there, then you should be able to get a couple hundred bucks off at least from their list price, give em a go and see what happens :)

There is another thread about this topic, and there was a link to a uk company which has a product called a bluefin - it was better value - just do a search for it - wasnt long ago actually.

Agree with the above especially as it offers the flexibility to map back to stock when required :)

They have the VXR on there now - $1,700, 195kw (+19) and 345Nm (+25)

Not cheap.

What map does it alter? Sport on/Sport off or both? If it only alters one... there might be WHOA difference when you press the button:eek:

As far as I know there is no power chip available for the AH SRI-T yet.

I have my car tuned buy ChipTuning NZ and it goes very well. With this chip holden cant tell that anything has been altered (unless they drive it) and it wont reset even if the battery is disconnected for a prolonged amount of time. Chiptuning will reload the soft wear if for some unforeseen reason it is lost anyhow as they have my remap with the specific codes s saved in their database.

Try emailing Kurt, he might very well be able to recommend someone in your part of the world.

Yes there is, check my post above - probably not available to people in N.Z maybe ??

As rude one has suggested I'd rather go for an O/S one like the Bluefin.

The P/C re-map for the VXR is a joke, especially considereing the asking price...

Seems like there are heaps of tuners for VXRs, but not much for the normal SRiTs?

I've had a quick skim around, but all I have found are maps for the VXRs. Even for the Bluefin. Would love to get one if they have one for the normal SRiT. :p

Why does there not seem to be many for our SRi-T's? Are they too new... in Australia at least? I would have thought seeing as though the previous TS Turbo was able to be done and there are some similarities, there would be more options on the market. I know they aren't exactly the same (engine/tuning wise). Maybe there's not as much demand... yet?

For all you guys with the AH Sri-t, (in Oz) I suppose if you really want it, you'll have to get the P/C tune, power upgrade wise, it's not too bad, you'll have a similar output to a stock VXR, the asking price is the prob....

There is also another local mob called QSZ, they had a very strong re-map for the TS turbo as well, but like P/C they've also discontinued it and as far as I know they don't have anything for the AH turbos available locally, but they could probably get you one from Germany, as that's what they use - maybe enquire with them.....

well its priced right. but now i see alot of them for sale from private sellers. and majority of them have done less than 10 000kms! very weird.Dont MRT do tuning for the VXR?

Im told the AH and TS run completely different computers systems and the AH has a Canbus controlled something or rather

Maybe they assume people after the performance model will go for the VXR?? I would have given the option.:)

They don't do maps, only suspension, cold-air intake and supply an Irmscher grille.
