Hey guys,

I'm trying to source a complete timing belt kit for my Vectra. Basically i'm looking at $450.00 to source this locally. Does anyone have any international recommendations for me to look at to order this?

Thanks

Martin

Vectra B 2.2 in Australia was just a stroked 2.0 Different lengh cam belt though. Holden are your cheapest option (haggle for trade price) as this engine was not an option O.S. Chain drive engine did not appear in Aus Vectra's untill the C model. Was first here in various Astra models.

I've tracked down a kit for $220, a little better than the $450+ Holden price.

Thanks guys

what?? $450 from Holden...blood suckers!

are you sure the $220 one is a perfect fit?? you dont want to put a cheap belt in..might kill ur engine or bearings...etc..or even be noisy.....

Do you have a C22sel? If so dayco do a timing belt kit part number: KTBA122. Try getting a price on one of these.

This is the exact belt kit i'm referring to. So, not a cheap brand, and wouldn't risk my motor with crap for the sake of a couple hundred dollars anyway.

The price i'm referring to is for C22SEL motor. I see you have a X25XE motor as per your sig, cheapest i've seen is $429 for the kit for this motor. (Part No. KTBA145) Shoot me a PM if you're still after where it's from.

As much as I'm not a fan of Dayco (I'd take a Gates kits any day), price on KTBA122 is $195...
