Not a good review. Someone going to post a feedback to the article?
What makes me laugh is the Honda Civic type R specs. 0-100 in 6.6? You got to be kidding. That means my SRiT will do it in 6.5 and the VXR in 5.5

Looks-wise the HSV isn't as impressive as its engine.
Is he serious?

After spending quite a bit of time staring at a VXR on the weekend, i reckon its a very sexy car, like said above, its your own personal opinion!!!
The reporter didn't like it, but take one out yourself and see if you like it or not!!!
Personally i reckon theyre a nice car!!!

My thoughts exactly... Go and drive one and make up your own mine. I did and i bought one.
They are a nice car. But a bitch to keep clean when it keeps pissing down with rain...

Well i dont own one...but its not becoz i dont like them...
I have test driven a VXR...and they are a very hawt car..and on the outside...they are the sexiest car around.
Yeah...i own a MPS...but it was personal choice and BFYB...i got a better deal..
Dont listen to the media...buy what you want and like...the MPS gets bagged constantly by the media in reports...doesnt make it a bad car when it sold 1200 units in 1 year Australia wide and was the best selling hot hatch. <even beat the Golf GTI...but that was due to an ageing model and lack of supply>
Cheers

I don't see how a type-r, 148kW, 193Nm with 1350kg can accelerate faster than a 1400kg 262Nm SRi-T......?!
Bottom line, they should accelerate at a similar pace...not 1.0s difference

Guys, this thread is about bagging the writer of that article....not about coming to logical conclusions. :)

meh, car reviews - you get good ones, you get bad ones....
Geebs posted one up not long ago that was the total opposite, ie: really praised the VXR, so each to their own.

Exactly. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
Pity we don't get paid to express ours though :p
Each to their own I say.....
