Few lighting questions for vectra.

im not sure whether my car is fitted with foglights. it has the little circles of glass in the bumper and the switch inside but when i push it nothing turns on.. how can i check? or could it be the bulbs?

also how do u change the park lights in the headlamps.. i can only get to the low and high beam bulbs, but not the other small annoyingly yellow bulb.

any help?

it should be easy to remove the park lights...they are next to the high beam socket.

You should have 2 foglight switches if you have front foggies...

1 for the back is on the left and 1 on the right is the fronts.

Do any lights come on the dash when you hit the button.

the sockets for the park lights just twist off. its pretty easy.

regarding foglamps. your park lights have to be on before the fog lights will work.
so turn it on, then try it. if it still doesnt work, it could be the bulbs.. but they both wouldnt blow at once, so it might be a fuse.

haha, they work! ive had the car for about 1 year and never realised i had foglights.. always thought they were just decorative covers.

also found the parklight bulb thing.

does anyone else with 17's suffer from wheel bearing problems? mine have become a bit noisy now when doing around 20-30 km/h

Maybe time to upgrade ur wheel to 18' as well Adrian!! :D

hehe i think that'll make things worse, less rubber, more alloy. i think that would put more stress on the wheel bearings
