Hey i just found out about this place..

meshing the grill on a vectra b. ive done it already, cept the chrome bit had a hole in it, i filled it and put some chrome tape over it for the moment.

what are others solutions to this?

any help would be appreciated.

did this a long time ago before i got the opel grille. my grille surround was colour coded, so i just sprayed with a paint can that was made up to match the paint of my car. i think your best bet is to make it the same colour as the car.

i kinda like the contrast between the chrome and the colour of my car tho. Hrm..

i know the chrome would look so much better but i guess if you couldn't afford to get the plastic chromed again, then painting is your best bet. you could always try some "chrome" spray paint but i think that would look more silver than chrome.

if you want your cars colour in a spray can, go to any auto paint supplier and they should be able to make a can up for around $20

thanks mate. i got told you couldnt 'chrome' plastic because it melts or something. noone seems to be able to explain how the oem parts come chromed tho.

anyway do u know anywhere i cud get teh whole thing chromed?

also any places in sydney where u can get vectra bodykits, grilles, accessories?

all i can recommend is check the yellow pages under plastics--coaters

i'm not sure if they can help you out but they may be able to chrom plastic.

some of the other guys here on the board will help you out with all the body kit stuff in sydney. i haven't really gone to any great lengths with aesthetic mods on my car.

yeah it comes with a hole in it from where the badge is supposed to go.

plus they want 94 bucks for it.
