VXR Meet Donnington BTCC

Final official VXR meet at Donnington for the BTCC last Sunday, was a wash out with heavy rain but still was a great day, Vauxhall Motorsport do good for their supporters with he VXR drivers lounge, undercover facility supplying free tea/coffee, soft drinks, biscuits, chocolate bars and chips for the duration of the day and if you dont wont to venture out into the down pour they have 2 large plasma screens so you can chill out eat, drink and enjoy the day : )

imports they are, as for the green SS ute, its putting out about 600 plus bhp i believe, its owned by monkfish performance who specialise in V8 and HSV tuning over here in the UK.

Those GTS's pictured are VT series 2.

From what I know, there was a limited number of VT series 2 HSV R8's sold in the U.K. as GTS's......but they are actually our R8 spec.

Aussie will have to check to confirm with those pictured - if they're equipped with the 'C4B' LS1, then they're GTS's, if it's a normal LS1, then they're R8's with GTS badges.

The VT series 2 GTS was never made in 'tiger mica' (sting red and phantom mica - black only).
