id say that was the reason... i was watching a vid on drifting championship's in AUS and 70% of the jap owner's hated the V8's in the competition

maybe cos they were winning ?

I think that is wat they are well at least trying to do by increasing the number of hours required for the licence as they are over here but that is so easy to fuge and it is passing the buck.

There need to be to best put it skip pan trainning, how to deal with the car in sercumstances that are beond the drivers control.

Then from that thou u would get those cocky ones and thoes that are overly careful but with most a medium could probly be reached.

then again thou Wat do i know i just look at risks on a daily basis.

Exactly, the driving test doesnt even ask for something as simple as performing an emergency brake test.

There's always going to be cocky people, at least with some skidpan or driver training they are going to have some sort of idea what to do if they find themselves in a bit of trouble. I'll never forget my first big lose in my VK at 18. I was extremely lucky I didn't wrap it round a tree. I also thank God Dad took me to a paddock one day in my L's and got me to get it into a skid so I had a little idea of what to do.

Compare that to my sister in law who when one day for a joke I pulled the handbrake on her in another grass paddock, the Magna went sideways and she completely freaked out - brake on, hands OFF the steering wheel and she was in hysterics.
