View Full Version : Odometer Stuck (AH SRi Astra 07)

I am quite enjoying my new SRi astra which I bought brand new, however I noticed today that the Main Odometer is stuck on 8986 kms, the small trip odometer works fine, and the main trip computer dose as well.

Im taking it into the dealer on monday for them to look at it.

Anyone else had this problem???

i wouldnt complain, drive it all you like

just minitor how many km's u do for service reasons....otehrwise dont tell them and enjoy resale :D

maybe when he rotated the tyres around he put the wheels on backwards? :p

Another great idea for RWD cars is to run a locker or mini spool, the k's go everywhere!! In one week, my mates VL went from 150,000 to 690,000, and ended the week of 3,500km thats a hell of alot of driving in the real world!!!

Agreed a problem i would love to have haha!!!!

That sounds really interesting, Wynnston. Do you have any ABS warning lights coming on?

Bad news (I think) is that both the engine controller and the instrument cluster record distance travelled.

mine is a few km short of 30k and my inspection warning hasn't started coming up.

G'day,

first post, have an Astra Wagon MY6.5. Just have a quick question, I have a message (InSP) appear in my little window above the odometer. I have just hit 18,000 k's. Is this a service reminder?

Yes, it is.

Cheers mate, I was a little concerned as it appeared just after I had to change a flat tyre.

Weird that it should appear 4000 k's after it was supposed to. :eh:

may have been reset at your last service (ie, at the 3-odd thou K service)
