i have been looking around to try and find any short courses on car restoration. my goal is to restore an old 68 mustang convertable, and would love to do most of the work myself (minus the major things like paint, engine etc).
i don't really want to do a full course in one subject ie. mechanics then panel beating. i would prefer to do something that cover all the basics, as i have some friends that are also able to help in some areas (spray painter, mechanic).

does anyone know of any courses in the sydney area?

i figure that this could also be useful on my corsa should anything ever need to be done.

Have you tried your local TAFE (or similar)? In Melbourne, Batman TAFE have an automotive campus in Richmond, which offers course in everything from interior restoration, bodywork, painting etc.

Good Luck
