AH SRIT Question - Windows & Price

Hi guys

Does that SRTI come with Global close so you can open and close the windows witht he key fob?

Also I have been looking around and I can get a 6.5 for 31990 drive away ? What do you think of the price since it 2006 and has had two updates since ?

yes you can open and close your windows with the key fob, as for the price seems ok

U sure Metro? I thought it was only for the 5 doors and twin-tops with the auto window closure through the keyfob.

If you hold down the OPEN button on ur keys they open, HOld CLOSE to close the windows. Its VERY handy in summer!!

Just also confirming that auto up\down works on mine.
You have to be constantly in range of the sensor i.e aim through the window whilst you hold it, This is because if the connection breaks the windows stop moving and you have to hold it down again for a few seconds to get them moving again. Window tinting with metal film can apparantly impair the senor range etc.

I use it mostly when i have taken the key out of the ignition without putting the windows up and the window buttons are no longer responsive instead of putting the keys back in you can just hold the lock button down on the remote

It will work on all models with electric windows (correct me if im wrong). Crispy's CDX has the feature

The windows work on all except the base povo pack CD astra which only has 2 pwr windows.

The difference between the AH6.5 and AH 7 SRiT's was the deletion of White and introduction of Red.

We are now on AH7.5. The differences are the removal of the checkered finish on the doors and dash. Instead it is just plain silver. Also the front grille has vertical slats as well as the previous horizontal ones.
