Vectra B Air Con Lights

Hi,

Has anyone had the problem where the lights for the aircon, heated rear screen etc stop working? The switches still work I just don't know if there on or off...

The switch are on a Vectra B JSII

I pulled the switches out and swapped the bulb from a working switch into the aircon but now neither work. I don't want to try this again with the rear window switch in case I bugger this one up too.

Try the fuse

there is a short, which is causing the lights to blow constantly... the fuse won't help - once fuses blow, they are done,

if there is a short it will be in the weakest part of the circuit. ie fuse. change your fuse to a new one and then try. there is a fuse map in your manual.

Cheers, fuses are fine, removed the bulbs and they are gone.

Problem solved.

Just bought a new switch from the UK. Including postage it only cost me 61 bucks. Holden wanted $89!!!

If you want to solve problems with bulbs blowing sometime in the future u can change them all to LEDs.
