That's right ladies and Gents. Saturday 31st March @ 11:00Hrs, and after 3-4 weeks of 6-Day/week city commuting through the rain and shit traffic, this girl's an even scankier bitch than when I bought her on the 1st January, and the Dealership treated her like a right bitch, I can tell you....Her Booty's in for a damn good lathering-up today. ;)

step 1: Quick hose-down before removing all 4 hubcaps. I used AmourAll's Wash & Wax for the initial sudsing up.

Step 2: After initial Wash, I applied Mothers' Clay Bar over the entire surface of the cars' paintwork; Not just the little nooks and crannies where the wash didn't reach. First Image is the pure, uncontaminated Clay bar, 2nd Image is the same bar, 2-Hours later. Pretty disgusting stuff. The Box suggests using the Clay Bar for 3 average-sized cars. But after this treatment, no way am I using this Bar again.

The same dirty Clay Bar in a different light...

Step 3: After the Clay Treatment, Zaffie's subjected to a 2nd Washing with AmorAll's Wash & Wax, concentrating on the wheels and Hubcaps as well.

Step 4: After drying with a 3sq" Chamois, Paintwork is treated with Maguiars' Gold-Class Polymer Glaze, followed by mothers' Liquid detailer. This was used for removing fingermarks.
Finally, a Plastic-Trim restoring liquid from Maguiars was used for de-oxidising the sun-faded plastic bumbers, trim, door rubbers etc. I went absolutely nuts with this stuff, going so far as to use it on the little rubber ring surrounding the ignition.. :D

So after 48-Hours of intensive detailing inside and out, Zaffie's no hoe no more. That Girl's trick!

Clean up started around noon Saturday 31st March, and ended 18:30Hrs last night.

The option of importing a Zafira from the UK was pursued, however the cost and logistics of the whole process was not viable. Alternative was to re-badge-engineer the whole vehicle, including Engine Cover, AirBag and HubCaps.

used the clay stuff on my car on the weekend (3M brand one) and it is amazing:dance: the amount of crap that it cleaned of the clear coat is great. the paint is now a much stonger colour and it looks as if it left the show room yesterday

If you looked at importing one you should have considered the OPC version
