Im mates with the owner and told him how u Opel boyz and girlz are neglected in terms of aftermarket goods. I spoke to Derek in January about some FK coilovers for my Barina (before I jumped insurers :() and found him to be a very nice bloke.

I for one love supporting local businesses, however a lot of people are quite price conscious on here, especially when a certain four letters are mentioned (Ebay) :screwy:

I can put up the prices he gave me although this wouldn't be very fair as they are outdated by nearly 6 months and with changes in currency would only be a "guide" not a complete reference!

For the record, he have me prices on the following coilovers:

A great value set up for your car would be the Highsport line. A set for your car would run at about $xxxx incl GST.
A set of Silverline Plus X with adjustable Koni dampers would be about $xxxx.
A set of Silverline without adjustable dampers is about $xxxx.

agreed. I also like the FKRL4012. it didnt have a picture but it is the same style as the chrome one above it but with a black cover (I assume, it has a very similar stock code)- more of a lexus style. Pricing seems awesome if you compare it to the Hella magic colours taillights for astra G.

Just curious as to how much a carbon fibre bonnet (FKA322) for astra is. My wallet definately isnt interested, last time i checked i wasnt a millionaire. I'm sure it'll be good for a laugh!

I can get u a price on the high tech kits but if u want ur car to handle like a Rex get the coilover kits which start at around $2500 (Height adjustable) and go up 8)

Dont waste ur time with the suspension kits as they arnt adjustable :wink:

I dont really trust Aussie suspension specialists cos my cars not an Aussie car :P

I bought the H&R Coilover kit which cost around $3200 mark cos there was nothing else around an H&R is the best followed by KW and FK

but my friends got the FK Coilovers in his A3 and feel as good as mine just mine cost more cos they are H&R

Cos H&R has been around longer than FK thats why u pay more but if my friend imported FK's when i was looking for suspension i would of went the FK's cos u cant really tell the difference and they cost less ;)

hey krayz, best mod i've done after the chip ...

handles absolutely fantastic now, although it's a bit bumpy with the 18's on it. probably still 10 times better than if i had done springs/shocks.

everyone else says .. it's not that bad ... but it was soft as before .. so i'm still getting used to the firmness :P

but if you want something that will carve up the track and still be quite compliant on the road then go for it. I'll be down in Canberra for the german autofest so come along and say hi and i'll take you for a spin if you like ;-)

The strut brace is a fully adjustable brace it will fit all Vectra B models

the fk strut brace for the vectra,
unfortunately doesnt fit the v6 model.
i have purchased one and tried
to fit one however, the brake fluid
cylinder gets in the way when put this way:
