I have started Opelising my Astra SRIT. I changed the front grill and the rear Holden badge to Opel. When removing the rear Holden badge it leaves you with two holes which is ok because I have put on an Opel badge in its place.
I am looking at de-badging the rest - ie removing:
the side SRI badges
the rear astra word badge
the rear turbo word badge
Does anyone know if that results in any holes etc when you remove them????
Looking at them I wouldn't think so - ?????????
Thanks Chris :)

Thanks Dee - I will strip this weekend. Wish me luck. Probably wont earn any money though. I think we will have to refer to it as:
"SRIT going Commando"

it leaves fade marks on the paint tho.
use fishing line and saw it thru the glue. then use a tar/gum remover

citrus oil, or eucalyptus oil works real well too ;).
not sure bout the sri badges but the turbo and astra have no holes, as i've removed mine.
i'd leave the sri on but, needs some there, or replace them with opc badges ;).

Methylated spirits works better - no residue, unlike the euky

What year model is your astra?
I've got 2006 AH SRIT, I removed rear holden badge myself and it didn't have any holes.
