quite surprised they Lotus uses this engine, but hey its a pretty good engine, and is alot more flexible and torquey than the Toyota corolla VVTi 1.8.

only the standard 147kW engine is used.. but still does under 6sec to 100.... see what RWD and being under a tonne does to performance :D.

Yeh, not surprising as Lotus has had numerous car relations with the GM/Opel group, makes sense for them to source an engine from Opel.

A higher power/weight ratio and better traction does indeed guarantee better performance ;)

i think that more the weight then the traction, mine did in the 6's stock too but.

Under 6 seconds too 100 stock, imagine it with a reflash hahaha!!!! Get on it tuners, could be some big money made here!!!

the Europa is basically a VX220 Turbo with a new covering,
my tuner has one as a development car for Lotus.
Went out in it last week running an uprated map, new 4 pots and wheels, goes very well but still feels like a VX just made a bit better
