Vauxhall VX220 (Z20LET)

Anyone know of anyone or ever toyed with the idea of importing a either a Vauxhall VX 220 (with the Z20LET) or a Opel Speedster ???

Im thinking they would be a cheaper then buying a Lotus Elise and would be just as fun .

I wouldnt mind importing one in 5 or 6 years time.

I have seen a few cruzing round over here in NZ, I believe Lotus NZ imports them new. Very nice, love the Turbo Model!

ive been for a ride in the new Europa (tuned), minimal comfort to say the lease lol trackday car/ weekend cruser only, basically a VX220 turbo with a new shell which is of a much better build qualitythan the Vxl variety.

Ever considerd droping a sr20det into your astra shell and tuning it off its tits, parts are cheap its jap :D
