Opel Kapitan

just received news that Opel might resurect the Opel Kapitan name and use it for its new car that will be released in 2009...it is believed it will be a direct competition to the BMW 5 series and mercedes class cars...

there are no other news as Opel do not want to reveal much...the car will most likely be a project that will include many innovations from the cancelled Insignia project and the current Signum model (which by the way will also most likely be dropped from the line up once the Kapitan name is approved and given green light)

Could it be the VE Commodore is going to be taken by Opel ???? The Calais has been in Europe now for months being tested? Wouldnt not be suprised if Opel are adding a VE product to there range. Esp if its going to be up against the Likes of the 5 Series BMW and E Class Mercedes Benz Class.
