Help Needed, Looking for new car..

morning guys..

im gonna need a bit of your help..

im in the market for a car, with a budget of up to about 13k MAX, but preferably dont want to spend more than 9-10K so i still have spare for mods.

I know the South African car market very well, so i know a good deal when i see it.

Now, how do i know who the reputable dealers are, and is the price right? overpriced? etc.

Are there any specific models i should maybe stay away from, or maybe some i should have a look @ that i may have never really noticed, as there are lots of cars you guys have here that i have never seen before.

Will be used to get to uni and back (or to station and back) and weekends, fun driving, etc..doesnt have to be a fuel sipper, but not particularly a petrol guzzler. and i dont want some slow ass piece of crap, and i hate Auto's..preferably turbo, or a strong N/A

well u could get a Barina(corsa), commodore/falcon v6. S13 NA or Turbo. Calibra if u can find one.

you could possibly find a early model VS commodore, manual with a 5.0L V8 for 13k,

or a later model turbo 4WD TX3,
you can get a model 1.6L na or 1.6L turbo 4WD, KC/KE ( small hatch back )
or a 1.8L na or 1.8L turbo 4WD, KF ( coupe style hatch back )


or evan if u can find a god one a pulsar ET TURBO

There was a Cali at a car yard at Tugun a while back for about $7,000 but not sure if it is there anymore.... oh yeah, Tugun is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, and on the main highway headings towards NSW ;)
