After Tuesday's drive to work it was

Stone - 1
Vectra Grill - 0

The grill on my car was/is seems really brittle so the stone that hit it managed to snap off many of the tabs used to keep it in place, so now I have made a really dodgy sports grill from some mesh I had lying around.

That's not bad for a "home job" :)

not bad at all for a quick fix till you get a new grill :)

andrew cut the tabs off at the side where you've put the bolts and glue the mesh to the back of the grille.

the biggest prob you have is that you could bog up the hole at the bottom, but rechroming it is a pain in the ass.

EDIT: didn't know you were getting a replacement, in that case ignore my post

i was only guessing he was getting a new one.

he may not be, and if that's the case then your idea is a good one :)

Hadn't planned on a new grill, but you know stones they can put up a good argument! As annoying as it is i'm thankefull it only hit plastic, could have easily hit the bonnet. Guess I need to make a decision to get a new grill or try to make this one look better! At least im not in a hurry!
