Strange msg when starting car..

got in my car tonight just as i'm leaving my parents place, and just after i started it, came up with "Insp" where the trip meter usually is. Only stayed there for a few seconds then disappeared, but this is the first time i've seen it and have no idea what it means.

Anybody know what its about?

it means that you car is dues for a service very soon

just had it serviced about 2 weeks ago...45,000km... not by holden though. is it possible ultratune didn't reset the service thingo?

Dude! It's easy to reset it yourself. Just read the manual. ;) You just hold down the fuel mileage reset button whilst starting the car, or putting the ignition on.

I think we all know what the moral of this story is... Do not take your car to Ultra tune, they will screw something up... I guarantee it! (isnt that their slogan? :p )

only reason i took it to ultratune is cos holden wanted $270 for a minor service and ultratune did it for $160, couldn't be bothered ringing around to get it done cheaper..

if i get a chance and am sober enough over the weekend i'll give it a go and see if it fixes it.
