hey wayne,

pop3 isn't authenticating against mail.opelaus.com

the mail server is available but it seems to reject authentication

when I access my email, the result is:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.opelaus.com', Server: 'mail.opelaus.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

furthermore, accessing user pages other than the standard blank screen produces the following:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

User pages and mail server are just fine.

In your case....

When the one year subscription (sponsorship) expires, there is a grace period. After that, the system locks the User's email and home directory.

Nothing is deleted at this point.

However, after about 3 months all email and subdomain info is deleted if the subscription is not renewed. This is the way it is set up.

If you did not automatically receive an email regarding this, please accept my apology. I have recorded all User info, passwords etc, so it can easily be restored.
