Hey all,
Would polishing or chroming the exhaust manifold heat shield have any negative affects on the heat in the engine bay?

just the stocky silver one, didnt know you could get a different one.
i havent taken it off yet, but i reckon it would look allright chromed or polished, just unsure about the affect it would have on the heat!?!

if you chrome it it may go like stainless duz when it gets hot and even may lift off after a while but if you polish it and goes dull then u may have to do a touch up polish by hand but dont take my advice ok im just a dyno queen

get HPC chrome coating. it's a ceramic coating that acts as a heat shield
