Hey,

Had a look under the bonnet and it looks like the stocky oil filters are a bit different to most aussie cars?!?

I lookied in the filter book today and found a K&N one thats listed to fit, but it looks like a very different type?

Does the whole complete standard unit come off easily for the new one to replace?

if it's like the veccy and the sri astra, then it's just a cartridge filter inside an alloy case, the rest i think are just typical filters.

the calibra is your average cylinder style filter.

i think he meant a normal scerw of filter jase.
i dont think you could, as the case sorta locks into the block, i dont think there is any screw point there.

i am still under the impression you just unscrew it, maby it might be worth giving your local holden dealers a ring.
