I understand peoples tastes vary widely when it comes to wheels, but I was hoping for eveyone's (and anyone's) opinion....
Im just trying to work out the style, before I look at what is available in the 5/100 PCD that I think AH astras have.
So let the games begin.

Seriously, i sort of regret getting the style rims that i have, but i guess you get bored of them after some time, but i would of loved to get a nice set of multispokes like your picture has. Problem is i had trouble finding them in a decent size.

What size are you after?

Definitly multispoke!

btw, its 5x110 that you want... you are able to get 5x100 fitments drilled to fit, although you might want rims with centre caps to hide the drilled holes

Hey El Burito... early next year.... one of my commission cheques is going down! I will l be looking to put charcoal grey 18's something or rather on the Veccy C.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. :o

Id probably be looking for a 17" X 7" size, cos tyres just get rediculous when u get into the 18" sizes. What offset do I need? Ive seen multi spoke 17's with an ET+42. Would that fit on my AH?

Also, how did you all think the photo-chop wheels came out looking?
I was very bored last night!

Multispokers look good, but so would a set of nice 5 or 6 spokers, just like the 18's factory fitted to the AH Sri T.

If you give it some time, you'll be able to score a set of factory 18's or maybe even the VXR's 19's s/h from various wheel outlets, from people who've replaced them with bigger wheels and we might possibly even see copies in the future, which is what usually happens with popular rim styles.

The only thing I'll try to convince you with on this topic is to go for at least 18's. :)

17's will look tiny on an AH - IMHO even the 19's fitted to the VXR look too small for the car !

18's will look sooooooooo much bettter - well worth the extra cost.

These days the price of 18's has dropped considerably compared to what they used to cost.

On an AH you will be o.k with an offset (ET) of +40-45mm.

I'd go for the "already dirty looking" shadow grey colour, as seen in the Multi Spoke example pic. Harder to spot the brake dust then!

I quite like this little trio of wheel options.
The middle one looks like a copy of the XR5 alloys, which i dont mind at all.
I wonder whether any of them come in the right PCD!!

I'd say multispoke but keep in mind with the Opel pads, they will become a biatch to clean
