Hi All,

My name is Claire, and I have a Holden Astra 01 hatch. Just starting to do the few mods to it. My ideas exceed my budget a little to much. Anyways, i'm on Sunshine Coast QLD, and am looking forward to seeing a few of the cars out n about!

However, whilst at a lovely CC meet, at Boondall Ice Skating rink, my charming Asti decided to die :boohoo: Bah! Haha, engine light came on and had NO guts in her what soever. Started chugging.

Left it for a few hours whilst ice skating, and came out and still same problem...booked a tow truck for $120 from Boondall to Coast...but changed my mind and got a friend to drive it back easily for me. (I'm no hoon, but it's hard to drive your car when you can feel her in pain!!)

I got home safe, seems like she is running only on 3 cyl, may be a plug/coil/cable. Who knows, hopefully not something expensive as I have only JUST had her 150000km service not to long ago.

Called Holden...they are having a look at it today *phew* Made sure they call me before they do anything, as I have a friend who works at Holden as Dispatch Manager in Brisbane, can get me free freight..and do things quickly for me :p

I had to catch train to work today :( Bummer - will save me a few $$'s however in fuel!

I think Asti was just wanting a day off!! Slack bastard.
