Give me a VE SS over that anyday thanks. I know he's enducing rediculous amounts of understeer but there would be definately some understeer there for sure. Don't know what Clarkson's on about saying it looks like something that's been designed in coffee break by people who don't care about cars... seeing it beside the Mazda and the Ford it leaves them for dead in terms of styling. Although the updated Astra style front end, doesn't match the 'older' rear styling.

Well i'm gathering if they put a RWD system in instead of the FWD system, it would have a brilliant review. This is where vauxhall needs to speak to holden.

First of all EDS start to solve this mystery. In the role of the Underdogs the OPEL Tunerhttp://media.autobild.de/bilder/content/icon_extern.gif (http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&langpair=de%7Cen&u=http://www.autobild.de/marken/opel/index.php&prev=/language_tools)from Marl feels obviously well. Managing director Arno Schindler starts in Nardo not with the Rüsselsheimer original, but with a right-guided Vauxhall, the English OPEL variant. For instance from reasons for performance? “Not nevertheless”, Schindler explains, “only found to Vauxhall our project so promising that one forced us upon formally a car.” The vehicle in the field, lowest-priced with distance, carries 345 HP out owing to large loader and modified electronics. A tidy value. But enough for 300 km/h? Those are the avowed goal - which however something seems high-seized: After Schindler with its laptop the car course-talks about the diagnose plug well, at load pressure and injection amount, nevertheless comeshttp://media.autobild.de/bilder/content/content_preview_sound.gifthe Vectra (http://javascript<b></b>:void(0);) filed with the third attempt on 276,7 km/h. The Nardo Frischlinge is content with it.</SPAN>

Just shows with the correct gearing and enough power a car can pull those types of speeds.
To put into perspective, a VY HSV GTS sedan i think tops out at 275km/h and it has 300kw, but retarded gearing, the 6th gear is definetly a highway gear.

Well the HSV Maloo did 271km/h (actually did 277km/h, 271km/h was the average of 3 runs) in its recent Guiness book of records feat, that would've been in 5th gear because 6th is definetely a highway gear!!! CSV however have cracked 300km/h in a Chev V8 if my memory serves me correctly!!!
