Errr not a bad result but how come it says u have a 350Z engine and 6 cylinders, is there something hidden under the bonnet that ur not telling us about or were the wrong details put into the dyno computer???

Freakin hell, id be happy with 20kW loss thru the driveline, but somehow i dunno how accurate the dyno is!!!! However an awesome result, something for you to build on now!!!!

the dyno is quite accurate and was running about 10KW under as well.. cause there were 3 cars that got dynoed last week and they put it on the dyno again last nyte for fun and they all had around a 10KWw losage.. they guy who was doin the runs was a trainee bloke he had to do the runs after 10pm cause the guy that usually does it went home..

23% loss sounds about right to me.
Good work...do you want it on the Hall of Fame (http://www.opelaus.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7625)? If so, let me know.

front wheel drive normally only looses 20% power, so at 92kw, you would have about 73kw at the wheels.
remember the 147kw astra turbs runs 121kw at the wheels.

do they i thought they were more like 115-117fwkw mark standard for a turbo astra g?
as for a mainline dyno they are accurate dynos if setup properly just like and other dyno really.
and not all fwd cars lose 20% our GTI only lost 20.4kw from its stated 147 and that aint 20% as 20% would be about the 29kw mark.
if you have done nothing to it then i would say that is great power figure i wish my a/f was like that i would have a bit more power then i currently have now.

we are looking into the remap for the 1.8L.
trying to balance up cost, and if it would be worth it.
the 20% is just an approximate rule, like the 8 sec rule for 1/4 mile compared to 0-100km.
the astra turbo looses about 23% as Mr T said.
