View Full Version : Online Opel Shopping in Taiwan

I've stumbled across an online site dedicated to european car modding and performance products in Taiwan. Many of the products are cheaper than buying from europe and I can imagine the freight would be a lot cheaper. I believe they ship internationally but as yet I'm awaiting confirmation. They seem to have Steinmetz, Irmscher, Bilsten and lots of other stuff.

Will let you know as I find out more about possible group buys etc.

I'm pretty sure anyone in Taiwan will ship internationally... given that almost anything plastic comes from either China or Taiwan these days.

Plus I have a feeling there aren't too many Opels driving around in Taiwan. Could be mistaken though :)

Yeah I pretty much agree with you but its more to the point that Im making them check their pricing. Certain things are cheaper ie: Steinmetz brake handle but others are way more off the mark ie: dial surrounds.

Hopefully their site just needs a bit of fine tuning to bring their pricing down on those items that are more expensive.

Need Opel, Irmscher or Steinmetz bits ? Contact Geof Tartoosie by emailing [email protected] . He is an awesome dude, his store is in SA but there is nothing he won't track down for you and send it across the country for ya. Even if it is just single order one offs. Just try him....................

Dunno...
Things arent quite as cheap as I'd hoped but still I can guess that freight would be a lot cheaper than shipping from the UK. So far they havent got back to me. No speaka da english I guess.

I don't even know if the site is live... there is no information about shipping anywhere

correction: there IS information about shipping if you can read Chinese. Use Babelfish (http://babelfish.altavista.com) to translate!

update: I went through the Chinese pages (translated) and when you get to checkout it says:
"The regret, our commodity at present is unable to deliver your country"

Unfortunately it looks like they only ship to Taiwan, and maybe close neighbours.
