Listen closely to what the say is replacing the Monaro in the UK. 4 door Commodore. Weather it be a HSV or a SS something im now trying to find out.

Gut feeling says a HSV GTS could become the VXR Commodore and the SS-V could be come the new replacement in the Vauxhall line up for the Standard Monaro.

As i said Gut feeling. Will see what i can find out.

Looks like the Commodore has been a Success if it dose.

That is an AWESOME VXR Monaro. I have just sent an e-mail to a contact with In Vauxhall in the UK to see if they have any pics of the work and any other Videos.

There are still plenty of brand new unsold Monaro's and GTO's on Holden showroom floors around the Country if you want one :)

As for a 2 door VE, I'm waiting in hope.......bring on the Torana re-birth

Articale in Wheels indicates that holden are looking into a new mid size car that could be on a 3 Series BMW size platform and could be the new Torana. The next Monaro also could be built in the USA too im Hearing.

Maybe the Epic is a Tempoary fix for the Australian Maket to fill in a gap.

Yes, you may very well be correct with all that !

I feel very strongly, from what I've read and heard and been told, it will only be a matter of time 1-3 years and we'll see a new HOT coupe based on the VE, not that retro coupe from the U.S. :)

If the bring on the Torana TT, that will be MAGIC!

I bought a Vectra ZC CDXi as a compromise :-)

I'll tell you this much. A new monaro will come by 2008 and it's based on the current commodore platform. A new 'Torana' is also in the works and it is also based on a shortened Commodore platform.

EDIT: No 4-door saloons will be exported to Europe, that is GM Europe's job to design.

Vauxhall are in the process of looking into Importing a 4 Door Commodore to replace the Monaro in its range next year. Vauxhall have enough Units of the Monaro to carry them through 07. Then in 07 they more then likely will go to a VE Commodore in the range .

Also wheels report a Calias has been sent to Europe for testing but not confirmed for Export.

Following the current Trend from GM Holden is well postioned to take on the Large scale Vehicle Production for the world.

The VE Is 99 % going to the USA as a Pontiac in 2007.

This fits in with the scheme at GM. The are globalising the company and products. It makes Sence and cuts cost in production. But it also increases quality in there products as one plant can make there product better and have something that siuts all markets.

Don't you worry Alfonzo, I believe they'll have plenty of customers for one of those ;)

I'm not fussed about it's output straight off the showroom floor either though, I'm gonna strap a TT kit on it go ballistic.......:D
