I've got an xbox, but i've played gt3 religiously and i've also got SegaGT thats got an Astra Turbo in it.

Gotta say GT3 is better than SegaGT, so i cant wait for GT4 to come out.

GT4 ain't due out til late in the year (i think i've heard october mentioned),
for some reason early release date was April 04 (which has come & gone).

They are now about to release the Prologue,
which is like an extended demo,
whuch is just a teaser (just more revenue for creators).......

can't wait til the full version hits the shelves
the GT series are the best games ever created :D

The SB GSi Corsa was in GT2, if i remember correctly :D

Skip the monaro dude... The Pontiac GTO is the same car, different grill. Its cheeper, and you get more power out of it stock. And then you can also race it in the USA events.

This game is unbelievable. Bought it on Friday arvo, but havent had much of a chance to play it.......

If you pass your International A licence, you get a 200sx (I think - I did all the licences on Saturday arvo and cant remember) so you dont necessarily have to buy another car.....

OMG, I've spent the whole day playing this game. I brought the PS2 in from the little TV into the big one with the surround sound, and my neighbour came over after hearing the engine revs of an Astin Martin Vanquish :D

He rushed back home and returned with a steering wheel, so I've been playing with that all afternoon! Unfortunately I couldn't alter the paddles (stuck on accel and brake) so I've had to drive auto all the time :( - I'm off to Hardly Normal or EB tomorrow to go buy the Logitech Driving Force Pro!!!

i got the logitech DFP for 280 from eb. i tried to bargain but thats the best they could do. btw when i got mine, no one had it in stock at all.

The steering wheel takes a little bit of getting used to, what with adjusting exact turns to the corner and what not - with the joystick on the pad it's either at hard lock or not. However once you get the hang of it, corners are easier to handle, apexes are easier to hit, and as for rallying - SO much fun!

I was thinking the same thing, Dregger - is it worth it or not - but after playing with my neighbour's $50 special, I can only imagine how good a decent one is going to be.

Driving Force Pro is up around $280 - $290 mark. But with 900 degrees of turning ability it's amazing. I've also read that if you download some drivers you can actually use it directly with your PC (it's a USB connection)

yep its true. i do it

to unlock 900deg function in any game. press select, r3 and right paddle to unlock.
you will hear the wheel unlock

i do this to play live for speed with 900deg steering

Bought it today - OMFG I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It fights you into corners, the tinest of movements starts the turn, and as for rallying - woah, the force feedback has you struggling to hold a straight line! Wonderful!

It's not as good as the real thing, no. The fact you hear it as you turn is a little off putting too (like a mechanical whiir) but geez, what an accessory. I love the 900 degrees :D, and it's a damn good attempt at simulating the real deal.

I've saved a few replays to get some photos off, but I left my USB stick at work, damn it - will have to remember it this week.
