How is the right hand muffler and piping going to fit in? Coz there is not a lot of room there with the suspension and the spare wheel well.

alonm is my good friend.....i went with him to the exhaust shop. basically what is happening is just after the resonator there will be a Y flange...with 2 separate piping with a hotdog on each side and then twin tip on either side

so 4 tips?
He'd be better off getting Magnaflow mufflers, otherwise it'll drone too much with the hotdogs.

Wouldn't fit much else on the right hand side other than a hot dog, looking at my bro's Coupe.

Ahh I see how that could fit. Not sure what the flow characteristics would be like there, going into the muffler and then coming back out and around.. Will look good but!

i think there may be a lot of excess weight there.
(then again look in my boot:o )

I reckon it'll look great - go for it ;)

The proper aftermarket systems are those pictured above.

They are designed to clear the spare wheel bay, on other Opels eg: Calibra, the 2nd pipe comes from the front not the rear of the muffler.

I wouldn't worry about flow problems as mentioned above, the second set of pipes will be extra to what's already there - so it'll flow more compared to stock, if anything !

As for extra weight - who cares, it wont be that much and it's more than made up for by the better look it'll give your car !!!

Are you going to leave the standard rear bar or change that one as well ?

Personally i wouldn't take my car to holden for a zorst, just wanted to see how much holden are charging for one.

Otherwise, yer the second pic looks good, excess weight, the power should make up for it but i'm gathering its for looks and sound.

excess weight.......LOL at that coment. If its a real problem he will only put in a 3/4's of a tank of petrol instead of it being full. same weight......or he could leave his footy boots + uni work at home. lol

will look great when done!

Go on a diet, loose 5 kgs to make up for it.

Sounds like a cheap version of weight reduction.

are you running any other mufflers apart from the hotdogs?

How is the workmanship of the installation?

How long did it take to have it installed, did you have to leave the car all day?

Was it "BestMufflers" in house design or something else?

Does it sound like a "buzz box" or has a "low, subtle" sound to it?
(is your car a Turbo, manual\auto?)

sorry for so many questions but i have been looking for this type of setup to be available in Sydney for a long time...
