I wouldn't be suprised to see that motor added to the new range Vauxhall have just anounced. It appears that the sporty GSi range is to be upstaged by the VXR range. Vauxhall Racing (of BTCC fame) are involved in creating the new range starting with the VX220 and the recently inherited Vauxhall Monaro, further models will receive the VXR badge shortly after. :twisted:

Guys i have the new moto magazine and it has an article on the VX Manaro, they talk about how the Manaro has been given the VX brand over sorta like the HSV brand we have here in oz, they mention however that it might open the market for VXVectra and VXAstra ranges in the future, which could mean and astra or vectra HSV counter part in oz????? Umm sounds intresting,

If they put a Daewoo badge on it, it'll just completely ruin it!
Personally I think they have 3 options:
1) Continue rebadging it as a Holden
2) Bring it in as a HSV
or
3) Just leave it as an Opel...

elise maybe based on vx220 chassis but cant hold a torch to its performance.........Most uk Vaux enthusiasts see the elise as a girlie car and the 220 as a drivers car :wink:
