The Chevrolet WTCC Concept unveiled at the the 2006 Paris motor show has been designed by the team at Holden. It could also be the basis for the next generation Viva.

Exactly. The future GMDAT models should leave the 'crap daewoo' tag behind for good. It's a new beginning.

I read about this one today also - bad news is it 'won't' look like that !

If it is made it'll most probably lose all the body flare kit.....end up looking pretty ordinary.

And small cars being made by GM's acquired Korean Daewoo Factories is a fact of life now - we have to live with it .

Yeh a production model will obviously be toned down, as this is a concept race car.

If it looked like that and was priced properly (ie NOT like someone stole the gold box it came in) then I would definately consider it.

EDIT: also must have power levels akin to its looks (eg 30+kw over base model)

And everyone keeps Bagging out Daewoo... Guys that could be a Slight hint to what the next Barina could be like.....

Daewoo will become like Hyundai in the future now GM own them. It just takes time for things to happen. cant walking and change every thing in one go. It cost money.

Not me!:p Well yeh their current stuff isn't great but the new GMADAT models i'm all for. Not only a hint of what the next Viva and Barina could look like but also what the next Corsa could look like, as GMDAT have responsibility of that platform now.
