Mainly interested in Astra Turbo's (cause I own one) but I think It would be great to see all the members cars in one topic, unless it's already been done before.

If so please let me know where it is, and I would love to see it :)

And if it's possible can you post a picture of inside and out and list your specs, cause my car is stock atm, but am looking at ideas on what to do to mine. But also would just love to see what others have done to their own Astra Turbo. Just would be great to see as since I have bought this car, I have yet to see another one on the street :( .

I will post mine , it's nothing special, but got to wait for my phone to come back from the repair shop.

mods are in signature :).
not much done yet!!!
internals can be pretty cheap for them, as the c20xe had forged internals stock, n fit ours. so bout $200-300 for forged pistons, a lot beta than $1K for most cars.
if i ever get round to changing my turbo, i will be making manifolds for them, n selling some.

Sorry to go off topic, but you say 2-$300 for a set of forgies for our Z20LET's, that's dirt cheap ! I thought they cost way more than that.

Are you reffering to a set of Mahle's as used in the C20LET ? or something else - new or used ?

From what I know, only random C20XE's had forged pistons fitted, not all of them, some people confuse the Mahle stamping as forgies, but Mahle supplied all the standard pistons as well. (we're talking Cali engine here yes ?)

I'm considering a major engine upgrade for my engine next year, so this could be useful.

Also a bit off topic, but what type of fuel do you's use for your Astra Turbo car ?

I've tried Shell Optimax, Vautex and and BHP Ultima all 98 ron fuel and I don't notice much difference between them if any.

Well I might start it off when I get my phone back, but mine isn't anything special just a standard Silver Astra Turbo with a sunroof.

yep the cali's, n yes only some are forged.
yes new pistons.
there is the certain year model, pre 93 i think (cant remember) that are forged :)
