Hi all,

Taking delivery of a well cared for 03 Barina SRi on Friday and cant wait!
It was either the SRi or a new Lancer and frankly I prefered the little Opel:D Its silver in colour and stock as a rock..... for now!

I'm from Brisbanes North side but work in Logan, I have seen a few nice Barinas around the place but never really took any notice of them...... although I always took a liking to the GSi models.

I come from a Rotary background and also have had a few fast VW's and a couple of collector VW's.

Until I catch up with the Brisbane crew, Cya.

P.s: Wayne, very nice site mate. Well set up and from what I have seen well moderated. Its also good to see well behaved car folks on the forum to:)

Welcome friend

Phew, North Bris to Logan every day -that is one hell of a commute.

At least it will be in a car that you will enjoy.

Mr Corsa won't agree but they are pretty good stock (or close to it)

Picked up the beasty today!!!!
Even in stock trim it feels quickish!!

Zorst is in dire need of opening up and an intake mod to me thinks:D

The commute isnt that long really, just straight onto the gateway and 45 minutes and I am there.... I spent the same amount of time commuting to the city for years.

Time to do some driving!!!!!!:D :D
