car mats

When I picked up my SRiT the dealer said they had special Turbo mats, but when he rang their supply department they said they didn't.
Does anyone know if there are special car mats for the Turbo - I'm particurlarly keen to know of anywhere in Brisbane I could get them.

Short of that - any recommendations for car mats?

I know they have custom Holden mats but I have never heard of Turbo ones... :(

On that note, Holden have changed suppliers of their mats and they don't even match the colour of the carpet! It's light grey, car carpet is dark grey! What colourblind freak was running this show!

No particular brand, but make sure they:

- Are reasonably think
- Cover the entire area your foot will be on the floot.
- Have a heelpad.

From memory, there are special turbo mats that are for the turbo convertible. They have Turbo stitched onto them. They come standard with the convertible, and you can buy them from spare parts. They are fairly expensive though, I cant remember how much, and I think you buy the individually, not as a set. These mats do fit the sri turbo too. Hope this helps.

i got some used holden mats for a 3dr astra still!! black with the red holden words. PM me!!! its a bit dusty and all they need is a wash. and i'm brisbane...

I'm asked the dealer about the Turbo Convertible mats for my SRI-T (should pick it up in a day or two mwhahaha)
He is going to check if the back mats from the turbo convertible fit into a 3door hatch, (because the mats for the 3door hatch come in a pack of foor) And get me a price for them (Holden Employee discount mwhahaa)

Burg Design http://www.burgdesign.com.au had some good quality car mats which suited the greyish Astra carpet perfectly.

They were also very good quality.

But Burg Design don't sell them anymore.

I rang Holden today and ordered the carpet locks. $15 or something silly. Then they wanted $12 for freight. I told them to bring them in with their stock order.

Might see if I can get an alloy set knocked up here in town as well using the single good one as a template. Then I might have something with a bit of strength too.
