Yeah
16x7, but mine is a Corsa.
For yours, i'd recommend atleast 17's if you get them.

Starcorp Racing Lite 15x6.5, they weigh absolutely nothing (5.1kg), so thats generally why I chose mine.
(Can I claim title of lightest/smallest wheels on this forum yet?)

Noooooooo, 15's on an Astra don't do it........

Apologies if your mean this same type and style in a bigger size LOL.

Snotty nice head lights - exactly the same as mine !

And here I thought I was unique and the only one with them, there are a few other styles available, the one's we've got are the best looking IMO !

wow i love the colour of the angel eyes in your car! i might have to go chuck some red or orange LED in my angel eyes instead of the white!

Clint
19th September 2006, 12:57 PM
are they wires to your park lights or a seperate switch? im wondering how many cops would take one look and pull u over for that

Wraith
19th September 2006, 01:02 PM
They're not red or orange LED's.

I've got the exact same headlights and they're fitted with standard incandescent globes of 1.2W, which gives a yellowish/orange glow, which becomes darker with time due to the glass of the bulbs eventually getting a black burn scar.

I plan to change mine to bright white LED's, but ATM the yellowish/orange colour contrasts very well with my 8000k Xenon HID's.

Yes they plug straight to the park light wire loom.

Don't know if cops would bother, seeing they are standard equipment on other cars, so approaching head on at night, they might think it's a Beemer !

Clint
19th September 2006, 01:05 PM
were they imported? if so did you have them modified to suit right hand drive cars?

Wraith
19th September 2006, 01:11 PM
Yes, they were imported and I specifically got mine from the U.K where they are all for RHD vehicles, however when I recieved them I discovered that they have an internal adjustment for both RHD and LHD.

I got mine December last year for about $480 landed to my front door - don't know about the prices these days though.......

I've been having a look around for a set of 18" 12-14 spoke rims without much luck for an Astra H Coupe (apart from importing from overseas). Checked Bob-jane+tempe website to no avail. heading over to Bob-Jane in person this weekend see what else they might have. Can anyone reccommmend a good brand for this. The ones from europe cost around a jaw dropping 250 Euro each wheel with tyre!!!

thanks for the info! though would be nice to know what tyres were included in the package...
tell you what i'll do: will tell bobjanes or other like them that i am willing to pay not more that $1,300 for Lite-7 17 X 7" with cheaper tyres like Federal of Firenza on'em, say 215/45/17, balanced and installed on the car. let's see what happens :)
a few months back i paid $1,340 for Holotype 17" with Firenza 215/45/17 tyres for my Lacetti. that deal included wheel alignment, too

Last year for my Vectra B I bought the speedy's for just under $250 each and my Goodyear F1's for the same price! I dont really know if that was a good deal, but I did buy from the only place I came accross that didn't give me a retarded answer like "Vectra's they're imported sh$t, odd offsets on them, cant get anything for them worth having", I kid you not that was a reply I got last year from a store of a very large tyre chain!

Wattie

i bought the 18s, for aboot 2 grand, with 225/40/18 (think) hankook tyres.

i think $270 per wheel is what i paid for the 18s.

don't worry, i believe you... automotive trade and laziness go hand in hand.

the amount of times i've wanted a part and they get the response "sorry mate we can't order that, you'll have order the whole bottom end and that would could you $5000, maybe try a wrecker"
