the 3 thing has already happened, although not quite the celebrity of either of the previous two the author of Storm Boy "Colin Keild" died on sydney harbour the other day while trying to tie up a yacht in the storms we had the other morning !!

so Peter Brock died in a car acident, Steve Irwin died by a sting ray and the author of Storm Boy died during a storm, hmmmm freaky me thinks.

lets hope no one else kicks off.

as for Steve and Brock, very sad indeed :((....and of course colin,,,,,not that i had read the book !

Sam Newman is an ex. AFL football player with the Geelong Cats. He's now a TV presenter with one hell of an opinion, and doesn't care who he pisses off while he expresses it.

To give you an idea of his personality, one of his many headline appearances was that he had quite a large mural of Pamela Anderson fitted to the front glass exterior of his Melbourne home without council approval. From memory his neighbours weren't terribly impressed. His latest antic was spitting on and decking a member of the crowd in Germany during the World Cup whilst drunk and on tour with the rest of the AFL Footy Show presenter team.

RIP Peter Brock, having met him on many occasions he was hands down the nicest bloke in the paddock! Went one year to Sandown and Brockie was still signing autographs while the HRT manager yelled at him telling him hes got 10mins to be on the grid! A true champion in races and with the fans!!

That One Thing about Peter Brock. He always had time for is fans . No matter what he would always sign items for the fans.

Peter Brock was the kind of Man that you could walk up to as a child( Which i did many times when i was a youngster) and ask for his autograph. He would never give you a no for an answer. Maybe hold while i just find a texta or pen .

He is someone i looked up to in many ways with his outlook on life.

As humans, you would think that death shouldn't be so alien to us...and yet it still is! There is something not right about it.

I was at work when a friend said "Brocky died".
I was in shock. I always wanted to be like Peter Brock growing up. Playing car games on the PC or whatever, I'd always put 'Peter Brock' as my name.

He was a true champion on and off the field. You'll be sadly missed mate.

R.I.P. Peter Brock!
